Getting 3 hours of sleep in a row.
Relief Society Meals.
Sisters who bring disposable dishes.
Older children that can change diapers, burp baby and even buckle baby into car seat.
The smell of a clean and lotioned baby.
Naps.
Caffeine. (Hello Happy Hour)
Baked Goods (I can't get enough.)
Grandmas and Grandpas.
Dads that take the first night shift.
Heart Shaped Lips.
and
Arms that are no longer empty.
Well. Don't I love that list. And don't I love that baby girl even more.
ReplyDeleteDid you get those 3 hours of sleep last night? I asked for it for you!
I love her. A mix of Joy and Eli and Grace and then just Glory Girl.
She is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am SO glad your arms are full.....of little Glory...love you Tami....
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable! It's hard dealing with the new and different emotions that come from having a new little one after loosing a child. It hurts in different ways and feels good in different ways. I wish your moments with Glory were free from grief. But all our moments will include remembering the little ones we are missing and longing for. Thanks for posting such cute pictures of her - she really is precious.
ReplyDeleteAgree and agree and agree. Love this post. Love you.
ReplyDeletePs. Blake has gone five hours the last five nights. Don't hate me. :)
She is breathtaking. I hope you get more sleep soon. My son Zach has been the worst sleeper--not sleeping through the night until he was three. Wishing you some sleep....
