Tami, you have NO idea how addicted Dan and I are to this game. We bought it for the XBox 360 and can play two guitars at the same time. We have played it non-stop. We just bought "Rock Band" yesterday which will add to our addiction. Glad to hear I'm not the onlyl one that's obsessed and not getting anything done around our house.
Haha - that is very funny. I've heard how addicting this game can be and now I can see it firsthand. There's always another day for clean toilets - play away.
I can't keep my hands of the Wii and cooking mama.
Sadly, I've hardly cooked a real meal for my family since the holidays....but oh, you should see the stuff I make on cooking mama. Stuffed Lobster anyone?
lol! tami, i LOVE guitar hero. good thing we don't have it..our good friends do though and we play it a lot. we do have a wii and it's killing me. i love it!
Our little Joy passed away on January 20, 2008. She was 2 years and 3 months old. She died from a rapid onset respiratory virus and passed away in her sleep. She was in the care of her loving grandparents at the time while her parents and older siblings were in Disneyland.
I am so grateful that I started blogging 9 months before she died. These memories of her a a real treasure.
"The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss. That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in His own way. While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude."
~Joseph B. Wirthlin
"Parents who have surrendered the sweetest and smallest flowers from the family's garden need to remember our Heavenly Father. He has promised a special reward to those who now suffer in silence, who spend long days and longer nights through their trying times of bereavement. Our Creator has promised glory. He said, 'For after much tribulation come the blessings. Wherefore the day cometh that ye shall be crowned with much glory; the hour is not yet, but nigh at hand.' (D&C 58:4) That promised glory includes the blessing of reunion with each child who has left the family circle to help surviving members of the family to draw nearer to God. Those children still live and are a heritage to the Lord."
