I was wrong, I thought you'd be having a boy (for Eli's sake). Congratulations, I'm happy for you guys! I too have enjoyed your posts this month, it has been fun reading them and I hope you don't stop now that's it's Christmas. Keep them coming!
mazeltoff! happy christmas and what a wonderful thing for you all---enjoy all the girlie things (like you don't already have enough of that right now :))
I think that Joy is probably telling her all the best hiding places in your house and how to most effectively make a mess in the kitchen, and how to best make herself be heard among three very talkative sisters, and, I must say, one fairly talkative brother.
Woohoo, we are so excited for Baby Girl Weaver to join the group.
Yeah I am so happy for you and your family. I love all your girl names. I heard someone who named their girl Mercy, it reminded me of your girls names. I thought it was cute. I loved that you sang songs to Joy of Christmas Eve. I am praying for you all. Merry Christmas and congrats again on the new little one!
Our little Joy passed away on January 20, 2008. She was 2 years and 3 months old. She died from a rapid onset respiratory virus and passed away in her sleep. She was in the care of her loving grandparents at the time while her parents and older siblings were in Disneyland.
I am so grateful that I started blogging 9 months before she died. These memories of her a a real treasure.
"The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss. That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in His own way. While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude."
~Joseph B. Wirthlin
"Parents who have surrendered the sweetest and smallest flowers from the family's garden need to remember our Heavenly Father. He has promised a special reward to those who now suffer in silence, who spend long days and longer nights through their trying times of bereavement. Our Creator has promised glory. He said, 'For after much tribulation come the blessings. Wherefore the day cometh that ye shall be crowned with much glory; the hour is not yet, but nigh at hand.' (D&C 58:4) That promised glory includes the blessing of reunion with each child who has left the family circle to help surviving members of the family to draw nearer to God. Those children still live and are a heritage to the Lord."
